The aim of my works is to amplify the  viewers' experience in the space that surrounds them, unleashing spontaneous reactions and rational thoughts, involving them in an  intellectual and emotional participation with the space that welcomes them. 

In this collection of images, I present those works that best describe my artistic research. 

Over the years, I have used  different medias such as photography and video, in order to create art installations. In the past seven years, I have focused in the realisation of paintings using encaustic  painting technique. Encaustic is an ancient technique, which involves the preparation and transfer of hot wax on frescoes in order to brighten colours and protect them from the damage by environmental elements. In my works, as opposed to the old method, the wax is spread over a painted canvas which is fastened on a specially designed frame made to accommodate this technique.

L’intento del mio lavoro è quello di amplificare l’esperienza dello spettatore nello spazio che lo accoglie, scatenare in esso reazioni spontanee e riflessioni razionali,  attivando una partecipazione intellettiva ed emotiva su quanto lo circonda.  

In questa raccolta di immagini, presento quei lavori che meglio descrivono la mia ricerca artistica.

Negli anni, ho realizzato installazioni grazie all’utilizzo di diversi media come fotografia e video. Diversamente i lavori più recenti, degli ultimi sette anni,  sono caratterizzati dall’uso della pittura realizzata con la tecnica ad encausto.

L’encausto è una antica tecnica, che prevedeva la stesura di cera a caldo su affreschi allo scopo di vivacizzarne i colori e di proteggerli dagli agenti atmosferici.

Nei miei lavori, a differenza del metodo antico, la cera viene stesa su di una tela dipinta fissata su telai ideati appositamente per accogliere questa tecnica.
